What IT recommendations would you make for John?

John is an up-and-coming jazz singer and songwriter. He has regular gigs performing his original music at a neighborhood wine bar and a local Italian restaurant in his hometown of Santa Barbara, California. John is frequently asked by many of the wine bar and restaurant patrons if he has a CD recording of his songs for sale.

John has not been signed to a record label as of yet, but he has been thinking about recording an album independently and selling it online and at his shows. He would like to record and produce the album on his own, at his house. John would also like to keep track of his personal and professional finances, listen to the audition recordings of session musicians interested in playing with him on his album, and have access to the Internet. What IT recommendations would you make for John?

The list should include nouns, verbs ect….it can also have set phrases and idioms.

The topics are:

1. Introducing people
2. Jobs
3. Languages, nationalities
4. Address, describing location, weather
5. Describing People
6. Food and drink

Boy from my class thinks im italian?

I recently started at a new school and a boy in my biology class stares at me quite alot without smiling. I find this a bit awkward. He called my name one time and asks me if im italian? does he like me?

Italian translation please no online translators?

Please translate the following sentences or words:

"vivi la tua età."

"il giusto che Dio ama"

"rallegra"

"il mio nemico
non mi biasimerà."

I would like to learn Italian – and I have a good Spanish base – but I would like to branch out. There are a million options – books, CDs, CD-ROMs. Does anyone out have one they swear by?

Thanks.

Conjugation of Italian verbs?

When you conjugate an Italian verb in present tense (take parlare for instance), you would say:

Io parlo
Tu parli
Lui/Lei parla
Noi parliamo
Voi parlate
(WHAT PRONOUN DO YOU USE?) parlano

Okay, then, this is where I get confused: what is the 3rd person plural pronoun of that verb? Is it essi, esse, or loro? I don’t understand! Help please?

Thanks in advanced!
xD

What are some good Italian quotes?

I am doing a speech on Venice for my public speaking class and I really need a way to "open with impact". I am hoping for some phrase or quote in Italian that will really help me to capture my audience’s attention.
