I recently bought the game in Austria and I cannot seem to change the language of the game which is currently set to German. In the past when I had this problem (FIFA 08) I couldnt play it in English but I could in Italian (which i comprehend). With Call of Duty not only it doesnt work in English but no other language apart from German seems available… Im having the same exact problem with Fable II only that in Fable I downloaded the original version patch but that only modifies the audio while the tips and text are still in german.
Any help on how I can solve this or is this a new great idea by microsoft not to allow language change anymore??
Yeah the language is set to English… man this xbox live is starting to suck! You cannot change your billing address if you change country and now you cannot change the language in videogames!

Hi.. i have a problem with adobe premiere 7..
I have several divx 4 Avi files made with 3ds that I put in a project… they are flawless.. i put them on the timeline with the audio, and with the EXACT same settings for encoding a Video avi file that i used several times with premere 6.0 i find blocks and noises in the finished video..
The problem is that Premiere 7 do this with all of the encoding combination i have tried (divx 5,3vix,etc)… the only enconding setting that works is the uncompressed video format.. wich makes the video too huge to be used in any way…
Premiere 6 on the opposite still works correctly creating the video with the same files, without any Block or noises…..
What I am doing wrong?? off course I can keep using premiere 6 for this project but i like the premiere 7 effects better and I would like to make it work,,,
p.s. Sorry for my english I am italian!

Most words are almost the same, just spelled a bit different, some words are even spelled the same. And yes, i can speak both languages fluently. English isn’t originated from Romanian, is it? I know Spanish is, along with Italian, Portuguese, and French.
Some random words are like :
~English//Spanish:
Compare//Compara
Discover//Descuvre
Information//Informacion
Computer//Computadora
Microphone//Microfono
Site//Sitio
~Spelled the same:
Similar//Similar
Audio//Audio
Those are just some, but there are lots more…

Hey,
Background:
I am an American student studying at the University of Michigan. I am taking Introduction to Chinese (Mandarin) and we are learning Traditional Characters and Pinyin, but the goal is to use strictly Traditional Characters. Since Junior High until last semester’s Italian Class, I have always been close to failing my language courses. I truly believe Chinese will be easier for me– Hear me out first: the way my brain works allows me to understand chinese better than italian, spanish and russian (languages with a latin base) because the grammar isn’t a huge deal and a word is a word (no conjugations, etc). So far, I have been doing better in Chinese than I ever have in any other language.
Detailed Question:
I need something that will help me memorize traditional characters (how to both recognize them instantly and write them), how to pronounce them correctly (have digital audio files for pronouncing each character), as well as the pinyin equivalents for every character. I want something with a lot of dialogue. A huge plus would be an application that would allow me to sync with my iPhone and/or have files for the iPhone so that I can listen to audio files/pronunciations on the go. I have just purchased iChinese through the iTunes APP Store, so I will try that out tonight. But I want something for the computer that focuses on these things and ideally connects somehow to the iPhone. If this iChinese works well, then something just for the computer would be fine. If you have used specific software, let me know! Please Share. I will truly appreciate any help.
Sincerely,
Mike S.
