Italian Eggplant-Zucchini-Tomato Stew?

My Napolitani inlaws make a ratatouille-like vegetable stew that they call what sounds like "paska neesh" (maybe pasqua nizzo?) Does anyone know the correct name and spelling in Italian?

Im getting a tattoo that says that and i wanna make sure i have it spelled right.

The surname "Frollo" pretty much doesn’t sound French to me, unless you’d pronounce it the same but spell like "Frolaud" or "Frollot"… "Frollo" definitely looks Italian, as a matter of fact, it’s even a word which means "a weakling" in Italian.
