hello, I'm an italian student and I live in Turin…I'd need help with this english text…i need to correct it cause the english is wrong……can u help plz?It's very important!

I am trying to apply for a schengen visa to study in Italy for 1 semester, but the italian consulate says they can only give me a national student visa for Italy because I am staying for more that 90 days….? isn't that why I need a schengen visa. I think what threw them off is that I will be arriving in Athens, Greece 1 month and 1/2 before school sarts. What should I do? I want to travel 1st but they also want an itinerary for when exactly I will arrive in Italy or they can't process me yet. Should I just make a tentative one with no official ticket receipts?

I have an italian student coming to live with me for a week. Its a girl, and she's never been to America. Any ideas of what i should give her, her sisters, her parents as gifts? i want something classic that represents America or that you can only get here! thanks!

I applied for an Italian student visa on July 9th but I was denied the visa because I need a new passport. However, the issuing officer kept my application and all my documents and gave me a receipt and told me to come back when I have my nw passport. She told me that I wouldn't have to resubmit everything. I'd just have to drop the passport off. Does anyone know how long they keep your stuff on file? I won't be able to go back to the consulate until August 13th. Will they have trashed my stuff by then? Would I need to start over the whole application process?

so i have an italian foreign exchange student coming tomorrow night (monday) and i want to introduce her to some classic american food, some american resturants and american activites. the only days i have with her are friday saturday and sunday. got any suggestions ?
