I am a 23-year-old guy. I’ve picked up Spanish and Italian for 2 years. I really enjoy learning it during my spare time. I plan to visit Italy, Spain and Mexico in the future.Looking forward to those trips!!! However, in the past 2 years, my Chinese parents have keep saying , " Stop learning those 2 langauges now!!! What advantage can you get even though you can speak Spanish and Italian? You are wasting your time! You are not living in Europe. What’s the point of learning those useless langauges? Chinese culture is the best of all!"
Question 1) Does it mean my parents don’t accept Italian and Spanish and Latin American Culture?
Quesion 2) Do you agree with them?
