How difficult is the Italian AP Exam?

I’m probably going to take the Italian AP exam but I’m wondering how hard it is. This is the last year so I can’t wait until next year, but I’ve got a grand total of 5 years of italian under my belt counting this year(8th grade italian, 9th grade italian, both 10th and 11th grade italian in 10th grade, and now im in an advanced 4th year course). We don’t have an AP Italian class in our school per se, but it’s a college class. Frankly, I need a 5 as well. How hard is it and about what percent correct would I need to get the 5?

I’m a white girl of Italian heritage who absolutely adores Hispanic culture. My first CD was by Selena, I started learning Spanish in 5th grade and then took classes from 7-10th grade. I’ve always dated/been interested in Hispanic men (my current boyfriend is from Mexico), I love Latin music (especially Reggaeton), I’ve wanted to visit Puerto Rico for the longest time now, and I always find books/movies that feature Hispanic characters to be much more appealing. I’m really fascinated with the whole culture. A lot of my friends and family make fun of me. They’re always like "Jen, you’re white! Not Puerto Rican! Stop with that music!"

So I was just curious. When Hispanic people see a white girl who really takes an interest in their culture, do they think "Hey, that’s pretty cool" or "She’s white and needs to get a life." I don’t try to pretend that I’m Hispanic, I just have a genuine interest in the culture.

Thanks for the help. :)

I am a Junior male living in New York City (and I would prefer to stay here). I am hoping to apply to NYU and Columbia, possibly Adelphi as well. I want to major in physics, then major in astrophysics in grad school, and minor in bio. I am having trouble finding schools like that, so I would like recommendations. Anyway, here are my statistics:

SAT(taken once):
total-2180, 96th percentile
Critical Reading-690, 94th percentile
Math-720, 95th percentile
Writing-770 (essay[10]+multiple choice[75]), 99th percentile

GPA: 3.6, although it seems to be rising now that I’m done with stupid classes like art and italian

Extracurriculars: about 80 hours in total. Worked in an aquarium, library and now I’m a peer tutor in my school for math.

rigor of workload: I took AP world in 10th grade (got a 4), I am currently taking AP US with AP Calculus. Plan to take AP physics, stat and Euro or Economics next year. My electives were law and psychology.

personal information: American born, Russian-Jewish ethnicity. Mother is sick with cancer so much of the housework falls on me because my parents are divorced. My financial status can be classified as needy. My cousin went to Columbia (not sure if that counts as legacy).

Advice on Getting into Columbia?

I’m a junior at a pretty good, competitive high school, and my GPA was a 97 average last time I checked (my guidance counselor doesn’t have it out of 4), although if anything, I think it might have gone up since then since I got all A’s and A+’s on my last report card, except 1 B+ in Advanced Research. Courses I’m taking:

-AP Statistics (A)
-College Precalculus (A)
-AP US History (A)
-AP Language (A)
-Regular Physics (A+)
-Honors Italian (A+)
-Advanced Research (B+)

Next year I’m taking several more AP classes, including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, and AP Literature. My whole high school career I’ve taken nothing but Honors/AP classes except Physics. After this year I will have taken 5 APs (previously AP European History and AP Psychology, with a 4 on both AP exams). On practice SATs I’m scoring in the 2,100 range, though I still have to study more.

SAT II’s – I’m going to take the Math Level 1 in about 2 weeks (scoring 720 on practice tests, but I think I can go up 30 points by time of test with more review/tutor and practice). I’m taking Math Level 2 after I’m done with precalculus, and I will study rigorously for it. I will also be taking Biology (which I’m sure I’ll do good on after re-studying it, and my mom is a biology teacher, so that helps).

Extra
- 50 community service hours at hospitals/nursing homes (so far; I’ll get up to 100 eventually)
-Drama Club (9th grade)
-Human Rights Club (9th grade)
-Yearbook Club (10th grade)
-SADD Club (10th grade)
-Yearbook Club, Editor this year (11th grade)
-SADD Club (11th grade)

I can also get pretty good teacher recommendations, and my AP US History teacher graduated from Columbia, so that’s a plus. Am I a possible candidate for Columbia?
If you’re wondering why I haven’t played any sports or musical instruments…a lot of it was due to my constant surgeries which prevented me from being able to play sports, and I couldn’t learn an instrument in the state I was in. I’ve had major spinal surgery, surgery on my spleen, and I only have 4 fingers on my left hand.
